My children went to this school and I loved it they had a great teacher her name was Mrs. Palumbo. My daughter was in her class for 1&2 and I was praying for my son to be in her class when he was done with kindergarten, When the school year came around he was in her class for 1st grade. He didn’t get to finish 1st grade because we moved, however I knew Mrs. Palumbo would have taught him very well. The confidence she taught my daughter my daughter is in the third grade she took the FSA for the first time and scored high on her FSA. Miss Palumbo she does not play but she is a good teacher.

Worst school ever... this place should be shut down. It should be illegal how they treat students and parents. I'm horrified in how the teachers speak to students. My daughter came home in 10th grade w homework for math all about the game UNO. How is this math? How is this what's being taught? Another teacher has been harassing my daughter. School board has done nothing. The principal backs this teacher and all the other disturbing things I have brought to her. Zero education unless your in the IB program. Those kids are the prize possessions at the school. They are kept separate. The other kids are walking through fights left and right. The amount of racism I'm this school is gross. I went to this school as well. It was just as disgusting then. My daughter had no other options. Thankfully she will be graduating early because of Florida Virtual. Do not sent your kids here. Unless you want them to be sexually harassed involved in a fight or have some kind of racial issues. Atlantic community high school ypu should all be ashamed and embarrassed to work there.

I hate to say it but our daughter was poorly served by the culture of this particular school. Aside from an excellent graphic design instructor, the rest of the faculty was emotionally distant in meetings and administrators were consistently aggressive often yelling at my daughter for transgressions that could be not be fully explained when we followed up.Her last day was spent with a faculty member in a club that celebrated Latin American cuisine. An administrator barged in, screamed at her, and walked out. The faculty member turned to her and said, "I'm sorry that should not have happened."It took a year and a half to shake off this experience and I feel like we let her down by sending her here.
