"Good for young adults and renters! Close to downtown and uptown lots of great restaurants and bars near the area. "
  • Paul T.
"Lived in the neighborhood for 14 years, close to downtown, easy freeway access and the art museum as well to restaurants and groceries."
  • Roselyn L.
"Lots of dogs in the neighborhood but also lots of trash and not many owners pick up after their dogs"
  • Connie L.
"Eclectic mix of people. More young couples than families. I’m fascinated with the melting pot of culture, religion and ethnicity in this neighborhood. I say hello to everyone I pass while walking my dog. "
  • Anna S.
"Stevens square is nestled in the center of downtown minneapolis but has great out if city feel. It's tucked away from city's chaos yet very close to all your immediate needs."
  • Cassidy P.
"It seems every other person you meet has a dog. Park is dog friendly as well. Off-leash dog park within walking distance."
  • Cristina C.
"Great location, walking distance from downtown and Loring Park! Housing in this area is affordable, and there is always a cast of characters in the area "
  • Jill C.
"The ease of going every direction on both major freeways (construction not withstanding) makes it an extremely convenient location. I also love the proximity to downtown without paying downtown prices. "
  • Shanshanfreebird
"its very dog friendly. and a good starting place not far from downtown. easy access to highways and close to everything."
  • Jacob O.
"I have been living in the Stevens Community from august 2010 through 2013 (present) and am eager to continue living in the area. There is lots to do, very friendly neighborhood. Food and shopping in the area is excellent. Very close to bus routes and downtown nightlife. Easy access to 35w & I-94. I would however be semi-cautious to have children in this neighborhood. Even though my female roommates and I feel safe, there is occasional crime, nothing serious just something to consider when raising children.. It is however, EXCELLENT for Adults from all walks of life."
