6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to work at Victoria Elementary School prior to moving out of California. I can say nothing but good things. First, the staff are caring people. The principal is extremely involved and he does his part to make sure that the environment is wonderful for staff and parents. Victoria has a PTA where parents can voice their opinion and the principal invites parents on campus several times a month. In addition, all behavior is dealt with in an orderly fashion. Students respect teachers and teachers respect students. One final bonus is that the class sizes are small which allow students to learn more. If you are a parent, I highly recommend Victoria Elementary!Teacher Review9mo ago16 Reviews - Estancia High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy granddaughter is going on her 2nd year at Estancia and I have to say I am glad we are at this school. The teachers are amazing, they make learning exciting. My granddaughter got an A in history and she hates history. Mrs. Lee has made the class so fun. She is completely engulfed with astronomy and so excited about it due to Mr. Cleppy! As far as mental health goes I couldn't ask for a more supportive team of people from teachers to counselors to principal. Truly very grateful for all of the support. I almost forgot to mention drama production! Wonderful teacher, Ms. Marroqiun! The students have a great connection , I believe due to the exercises and encouragement from their teacher. The big negative is the amount of fights that occur here. It can be traumatizing to see an actual physical fight, it IS traumatizing. This needs to be addressed. All in all, I think it's a great school with great teachers and amazing staff.Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Charles W. Tewinkle Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has awesome programs as well as school fairs, fun electives, AVID programs. Although in the past this school was filled with troubled teens, Tewinkle has managed to "kill them with kindness" and encourage new generations to be more involved in academics. They have AC now in most classrooms and test scores have been improving! This school improves as time goes by.Parent Review8y ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 1 Riptide Ct #12.

"It’s a beautiful place to walk, but lots of kids are on electric bikes and scooters on the sidewalks and it makes for some scary moments"

"I don’t have a commute since I work from home. However, the mornings and after work evenings can be very busy and congested because of the commute on and off the island in peak hours. "

"Everyone is usually very dog friendly to your dog. However, there are not many places to take them potty if you don’t have your own grass/yard. Sometimes people complain about dogs going potty on the beach. Some owners let their dogs just go on the sidewalk. Overall, everyone is pretty good, I’ve just naturally had some interactions over the 7 years here. "

"Too many entitled dog owners with off-leash dogs. My dog has been attacked twice each by two neighbors' dogs, and honestly don't care at all. Got angry at me for reporting to animal control and blamed my dog despite the fact that we were just walking on the sidewalk."

"Not a lot of young families in this neighborhood but there are some. There are a few small but well equipped parks. Yards are small at most houses so, in most cases, there is not a lot of space for kids to play unless they go to a park. "
