"It’s quiet, neighbors are friendly and it’s in between 2 towns, copperas cove and Lampasas. We also have a Dollar General in Kempner so a drive all the way in to town can be avoided for basic groceries. "
  • Sonygarcia4
"Great roads and easy access to Austin, Temple, Killeen. Everything needed from groceries to clothing stores are within 10 mins. "
  • Sonygarcia4
"Excellent place to live. Close to major cities but still has the rural vibe. The house are beautiful and they also come with a decent amount of land. "
  • Jay D.
"People are nice. There are a couple small grocery stores and gas stations nearby there’s a beautiful farmers market that meets Saturday. Lots of roadside vegetables and honey"
  • Jazmyne F.
"Its a small town just do some research. Not a bad area everyone keeps to themselves. Kids play in the neighborhoods, not much noise. Lots of deer at night. There are offenders in the area but even they keep to themselves and shut in. Plenty of room to roam only one way into the neighborhood one way out. Unless you drive on to someones property and use their private exit."
  • John J.
"Great rural neighborhood and wonderful place to raise a family. There are beautiful views and nice places to take a walk. The neighborhood is really safe and friendly. "
  • Beverly H.
"there is no dog park and often dogs escape and not everyone here has their dogs vaccinated. we used to see cattle but one dog scared them away "
  • Ken B.
"Almost everyone in the neighborhood own dogs, so I would say this is a dog friendly neighborhood........."
  • Tom D.
"Neighbors are friendly and traffic is quiet. Town is 10 miles away, which makes for great country living."
  • Jackiemae6
"This area is really kid friendly with lots of outdoor space for them to run. Quiet neighborhood within minutes to Fort Hood military base and Central Texas College. Copperas Cove school district with bus service for the children. "
  • Vjvking
"I have lived here for 4 years and it is a wonderful little subdivision to live in. It is so quite and getting to look at the stars at night. I hate to have to leave here :( but got orders elsewhere."
