10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible approach at issues, several teachers are lacking effective methods of learning (The whole point of school) and instead prefer to give piles of homework each night, they ignore people asking for help and put you down for not being caught up or being confused. The last time I had a good learning experience was in Springfield. My grades are suffering because I cant keep up with the ridiculous amounts of homework in classes. Everyone that I have talked to all agree that English (I and II) are terribly taught, and pile homework on every student. I can only agree, I cant remember the last time we had a day to catch up on work, so instead I find myself staying up late relying on coffee to finish assignments.Student Review7y ago5 Reviews - Nixa Junior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNixa as a school district goes above and beyond for their students, and the junior high is no exception. Junior high is arguably one of the tougher age groups to manage, teach, and guide, but the staff at NJH don’t just know what they signed up for, they live for it.Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Nicholas A. "Nixa is an expensive place to live. The schools here have really good sports programs. It’s a pretty safe place to live and raise kids. "

"Work at home and within region. Police presence is constant checking for safe driving, and often let off with warnings if infractions are not severe. Other drivers are considerate. "

"Some owners do not take bigger dogs. I tend to stay to myself but at the dog park people are very friendly. I pick up my dog poop and see some but not as much as it could be I am sure."

"I lived in Nixa for about ten years. It’s changed a bit the few years I’ve been gone. Still is friendly. The cops are bored. It’s just like any other town. Good part bad part snooty part. "
