Great hide-away, has views or days, be out in the desert peace and quiet. Be off the grid if you choose. Electric close by, or go solar, set up well, and just buy propane or go all electric. This has everything you want if you want to be away from it all except rabbits and coyotes. This is desert country at its best. Dirt roads, dark starry nights, peace and solitude. Bring your tired and weary and get much need R&R on your new private secluded mini-ranch out in the desert. This is piece of land is surrounded by BLM land, I saw a lot of deer tracks in the washes that go futher up into the mountain. Place to park and walk government land to hunt deer. Not a lot of that left in Southern Cal.

I realize that this is a small town, with very few resources, and the quality of the teaching staff is based on the demographics of the area, and that is unfortunate, How can you expect to get quality teachers to come out and live in the desert so they can teach? That is the problem, the best teachers want to work in the city where there are more tax dollars for their school needs, what Lucerne Valley get's is the left overs, the teachers that can't find work any where else leaving them no choice but to come to the outlaying areas to find work. it isn't anyones fault it is just how the system works. This is a tough area to live in because there are no Jobs to support the population. Parents are forced to drive long distances for employment, and I suppose they don't have the time nor energy to demand a better school environment for their student.

"Lucerne Valley offers nice quiet, small town living. There are several parks in this town as well as local market and community and senior centers as well as being centrally located beneath the big bear and close to Apple Valley and Victorville."

"Friendly , kind neighbors. Hometown feel. The grandkids are able to walk to school together and they are safe. This is a very patriotic town and we have the best firework display ever. Come , have a seat and watch the stars !"

"large lots, fresh air, and living in a very quiet neighborhood. the bad thing about living here I guess I would have to say would be there are very many stay dogs and an occasional wild preditor in the area. "

"My neighborhood is very secluded very quiet and dark. I could see the stars. I have a beautiful view of the mountains. It gets very hot in the summer, usually in the 90's to low 100's. In the winter it can get as low as high 20' low 20's at night. "
