The property abuts land to the west owned by the Lake Waubeeka Associates and land owned by the City of Danbury to the north. The portion of Old Post Road which traverses this property is not maintained by the town, but is in fair condition and can be traversed with a high wheeled vehicle. The road serves as the trail corridor for the Ives Trail Greenway, which is a 14.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located that features a lake. The trail is rated as moderate offers a number of activity options. The property has terrific views to the east over the broad wetland resource.
