Additionally, there are two stock-tanks located on the ranch with one being stocked with catfish and perch and both great spots for an evening dove hunt. The loamy field land has been in cultivation with either oats or hay grazer and used for rotational grazing and hay production as part of a cow/calf operation. The cross-fencing, well-placed gates, and water troughs throughout all contribute to the efficiency for livestock production. Black Creek Ranch has a flat to gently sloping terrain which provides multiple areas for more barns, outbuildings or a sprawling ranch house to enjoy the peaceful ranch setting.
