    About this House

A residential parcel totaling approximately 31.95 acres is available for sale within the Squirrel Creek Estate Subdivision in Portage, Indiana. The parcel is located on the west side of McCool Road, just south of the I-80/90 Toll Road. Platted initially for 80' x 120' single-family lots, approximately 70 lots in the subdivision have already been developed and built. This remaining parcel is zoned low-density residential and is surrounded by existing residential homes, creating a natural extension for future development. All utilities, including water, sewer, gas, and electricity, are available. The land is raw and primarily flat. There is no active homeowners association or subdivision covenants, offering flexibility for future builders or developers. This site benefits from a lower property tax burden compared to neighboring communities and Illinois.

"Not too many dog walkers. Just clean up after your dog. The neighborhood is clean. Not too many areas to walk the dog and let him do his or her business though. Quiet respectful neighborhood. Friendly people. Clean and safe neighborhood. Always kept up. Children play outside so make sure that your dog is well trained and won't harm the children. The children are very friendly towards dogs and cats. Neighborhood is nice and you would like it...."
