As a parent, I am extremely concerned about the professionalism, supervision, and overall environment at this school.There have been multiple instances where staff displayed visible frustration and attitude when assisting students with basic needs. In one situation, a school officer appeared irritated about having to help a student retrieve his belongings. The front office response afterward was also disappointing.There have also been supervision concerns during outdoor activities where student behavior went unaddressed despite staff being nearby.Additionally, my child has experienced repeated illnesses and multiple accidents since attending this school, which raises concerns about cleanliness and sanitation practices within the facility.Families should feel supported, not dismissed. Students deserve a safe, attentive, and respectful environment. I sincerely hope administration takes these concerns seriously and works toward improvement.

Crystal Lake Middle School really needs to do better with the front office. Every time I call or come in, the office ladies sound sleepy, annoyed, and like they’d rather still be in bed than helping parents or students. There’s no warmth, no welcome, and no professionalism. When you’re the first people we deal with at the school, your attitude matters, and it’s honestly very disappointing.

My child has not been the easiest, very respectful but lacking motivation and the teachers and admin have been there with encouragement as well as hard life lessons for him. He is taking school more seriously due to the admin/teacher involvement - they did not let him slip through the cracks.
