4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former queer student that went to this school, it was horrible. The higher-ups absolutely do nothing about bullying or harassment. They WILL target you if they don’t like you. They didn’t like me because i was transgender. They do nothing about bullying or harassment, like i said. Instead of helping you, they will blame you for it. The mental health counselors will not help you. They care only about their paychecks and they’ll do everything in their power to send you to a psych ward instead of giving you help or advice. Police reports through them do nothing too. One time i was getting doxed on the internet by someone who went to the same school as me and they said nothing could be done because addresses are public information. They also throw around detentions like its candy. A classmate of mine was bullying me so i yelled at her and instead of her getting consequences, i got 10 days of detention. This is a horrible school. I beg do NOT send your children here, along with the middle school.Student Review4mo ago16 Reviews - Whitehall Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe experience my children had at this school was detrimental to their health and education. Bullying was extreme and administration did not handle the situation as it states they will in their policy. The counselor not only councils all the students, but is also the person responsible for making sure the bullying policy is upheld. The PTA is active, but they can’t keep other parent groups open- especially if it’s for special needs parents. In fact, they barely advertised what they did have for parents of special needs children and it would not surprise me if many parents who would need a group like that even know that it exists. It is difficult to get IEP’s. We were told by a state moderator that it may take up to 8 years to get an IEP, which doesn’t help anyone- that’s almost their whole school experience. One of my children had one teacher that was very negative, spoke to my child in a demeaning way every day and severely impacted my child’s mental health. Neither of my children wanted to go to school to the point of panic attacks, refusal to eat, not sleeping, and etc. to the point that we had to seek medical attention. Our experience with the principal was also very negative and non- supportive. There’s been changes in the school board and there’s now a new superintendent, but the previous superintendent was also very difficult to work with. Both of my children are in therapy and they bring up their feelings about what happened here often. It makes us so sad, because we wanted their experience at school to be a positive one. Unfortunately things got so bad that we had to make alternate plans for their educations.Parent Review1y ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near Exposition Dr.

"There are parks near by that you can taking your children too. To play on the playground or to even go skateboarding there are a lot of parks over by the high school and there’s also a summer camp nearby. It’s plenty of recreation and elementary schools. There’s walking past there’s there’s Rita’s ice cream."

"A lot of dogs get loose. They speed on the roads. Speeders don’t care if there are children or dogs. A fence is a must! There is thieving done from packages to stuff being stored outside. "

"Great school district and beautiful homes. Taxes lower than in Camden County. Recreational parks in abundance. Top police and fire departments. Waiting for Main Street revitalization. It’s happening slowly. Needs more larger chain stores other than Wal Mart. We certainly have the room. "

"I grew up and lived in this town my whole life! This community where my home is, is a quiet small little community that would be great for just about anyone. When I purchased the home I was a single female and was welcome with open arms and had the help of all my neighbors! Then my family was welcomed with open arms as well! My kids love the neighborhood where they can ride bikes and also use the playground across the street at the elementary school which is in walking distance. "

"For people that have to pay association fees,is disheartening that the lakes are unswimmable,no play grounds and is not very clean. If planning to move here, get involved and make a change."
