6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attends Monte Vista and he loves going to school there. He loves learning and his teachers do not disappoint him. They are experienced, competent and reliable. He is challenged academically via honors and college level classes. He has made friends and he likes the food well enough. The leadership at the school exhibit lots of participation with students and parents. They are available when needed with positive attitudes, a willingness to listen and they support their staff in any way they can. All in all, a very positive experience.Parent Review5mo ago12 Reviews - Check out schools near Dickey Dr.

"I have spent a good part of my life in La Mesa, my grandparents settling here in 1957. I live in their house. I graduated from Helix in ‘81, my niece from Grossmont in 2 weeks. Other than getting a little crowded, La Mesa is a centrally located, youthful, and social community, great to raise a family."
