6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen we first moved here based on the reviews, I was worried to send my kid here. Now that she has graduated and saw first hand how it runs, I'm glad we did. First, if your an engaged parent that doesn't believe the world revolves around your kid (your child is part of the world), and excuse their bad behavior, than your kid can thrive here.Our kiddo took advantage of the West Sound Tech program and she loved it. She did her hard classes in her freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years so she could really enjoy her Senior year with less pressure. She loved the art teacher and how he pushed each kids creativity. My kid was a teacher's assistant for the elementary librarian, and just loved her. On the downsize the class sizes may be a bit too large based on how several kids act out in classes. It feels like there is a small but growing culture of parents who enable their children's bad behavior and expect the school to accommodate it, and they (kids & their parents) throw fits if they dont get what they want.I am not a fan of not holding children (people in general) accountable for bad behavior, and I do look forward to when the pendulum swings back center as a culture, but I'll leave it at this.
