This school is a great place to learn and have fun. This place your student will be able to learn and join the activities. Your student will get the opportunity to join after school programs. The school has very good teachers that will help your child to learn and get through high school. It is easy to enroll at this school. Your student will never forget the time they spent here at Brethren Middle School. K-12 is all one school. Big school, Big family . Even the parents can help with little brothers or sisters. The school promotes the slogan “small school, big family,” but unfortunately that hasn’t been the experience from a parent perspective. At times it feels less like a family supporting students and more like a tight circle that protects staff and internal decisions rather than fully addressing concerns brought forward by parents.Concerns about bullying do not always appear to be taken as seriously as they should be, and responses can sometimes feel dismissive rather than focused on resolving the issue. There also seems to be inconsistency in how students with special needs are supported. Families who advocate for accommodations may feel like their concerns are minimized unless issues are directly observed at school.Communication with parents could also be improved. When parents raise concerns about their child’s wellbeing or support needs, the response should feel collaborative and solution-focused rather than dismissive.Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and heard at school. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this school.
