"there are many families and also retired people living here. We are on a golf course so it is really nice to be able to go feed the ducks or play a round of golf or walk the area with the pets and kid. The bus stops normally right in front of each house also so that makes it more safe. "

"Moved to this section of Abilene and worked in it , until orders were given to Move to Fort Stewart Georgia.. So Ready to Move back, to where Family and Community Matters. I had chose to live there because of the schools , shopping and accessibility to the Highway and Jobs"
- Randy D.

"If you are looking for a nice quite part of Abilene, Glen Abbey is someplace you may want to look into. Well built homes and lawns are well kept a sign of pride in the neighborhood. Far enough outside town that when you turn into your driveway you have left work behind you except for the text messages and e-mails that you still get. Close to Hospital if you work the medical field. When I drive the neighborhood I always think it would make for good BBQ cookouts with friends and family"
