    "We lived in Wauwatosa early in our married live. As young marrieds, we loved it. We lived in an old-fashioned 1920's two flat and had the advantage of single family living without the mortgage. We were able to garden, mow the lawn, rake leaves, and decorate for Christmas - all the things you miss when in an apartment. We were able to live with just one car and save up for a down payment on a house, because the public transportation in this area is GREAT. In fact, one of us commuted by bicycle part of the time. For cheap fun, we would take long walks around the neighborhood. There are many neighborhood churches and schools, and the library is close by too. Wauwatosa parks are fabulous.I would recommend this neighborhood for any age person. The only reason we left was due to an out-of-state move."
