    "5 minutes to NYS Thruway and 20 minutes to Rheincliff Amtrak station. If commuting within the region there is no traffic to speak of. If commuting to Dutchess county, it is a treat to commute back over the Rheincliff or Van Winkle bridges with the Catskill Mountains as a backdrop. Beats the LIE!"

    "Its a quiet area. It lies somewhere happily between seclusion and convenience. A 5-10 minute drive to downtown Woodstock and Saugerties and all that entails. A 5-10 minute drive to miles upon miles of hiking and backpacking trails. Some of which connect to and stretch for the eastern coast of the US, from Vermont to Georgia. A 30 minute drive to multiple micro cities, ski resorts and villages and a 60 minute drive to Albany and Newburgh which each have their own perfectly sized airports. I think the area is the perfect place to live when you don't want to deal with the stresses of the modern world but still want the convenience of it."
