What Locals Say about Seminole

  • Alohinetii
"Events at the fire DEPT. There aren’t many community events. It depends on what neighborhood you are in."
  • Parkerdenisemarie
"We have amazing Christian neighbors who are more like family than my own family. They are always checking in on us to make sure we are okay and if we need anything. Just recently their church brought us a fruit basket for Thanksgiving....just sweet, wonderful, caring people! I have never had better neighbors anywhere! I absolutely love them!"
  • Alohinetii
"It is a collection of locals and transplants that are mostly friendly and love the sun and water. They watch out for one another."
  • Maljaemalia
"Great quiet country living. It’s a short drive to Pensacola Florida or Robertsdale Alabama. There is also a boat ramp close by. "
  • wparker
"Living in Seminole I can enjoy country living with access to city conveniences in Pensacola, three rivers for water sports, and the beach. Most of what I need in Pensacola is within 15 miles but if I need to go downtown that is a 40 minute trip. Bicycling, running and walking are limited by a large volume of high speed traffic on US 90. The lack of paved shoulders makes this worse. There is a wide variety of housing. Lot sizes are mostly over an acre. Taxes and utilities are low. Seminole is the kind of place that is what you make of it."
