What Locals Say about Rumford

  • Lily
"As a full-time college student and mother, I telecommute. Those who commute from Rumford need a car, as there is really limited public transportation in the sticks."
  • Kari J.
"Always dog poop everywhere and having other dogs poop in your yard yuck Always always have your dog leashed even if they are under voice command "
  • Newbie
"We moved into our place in October. We live close to Hannaford and many businesses are in a short walking distance away. There is a HUGE WINTER PARKING PROBLEM! If you have to park on the streets you will have to find a place to park your vehicle or IT WILL BE TOWED any night it snows or any day the town does snow removal! Employment close in town is scarce so having a car is important. The town also has the occasional fart smell from the working paper Mill so air conditioning may be the better option in summer months to avoid blaming the dog or an unsuspecting family member of "crop dusting" you. Other than that, it's really a decent place to live and raise kids."
  • theresasax
"Nice, family oriented town to live in"
  • Peggy H.
"Everything you need is just a moment or two away!"
