What Locals Say about Milburn

"I have lived in the neighborhood for 32 years. It’s a great place to live and raise kids. The over $5m the city spent in improvements have been well received. However we do miss our big tree, but not so much the leaves!!"

"Friendly and safe and well kept neighborhood. A family place to live. Lots of kids. Just about everyone has a dog or two. Lots of barking."

"you see people walking there dogs all the time and a small amount of these people will pick up there dogs poop. most people will just leave it and keep walking. alot of dogs do not seem very friendly towards other dogs either."
  • Daren
"I've lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years. There are always people jogging, biking and walking dogs. Neighborhood is very close to Advent Health Center, Antioch park and pretty much everything. Great neighbors and great place to live !"

"Sidewalk is only on one side of street so you may have to go across a street to get to the sidewalk. Also, in winter, people don’t shovel, so impossible to walk sometimes in the winter. "

"The people in this neighborhood are great. Lots of trees that look beautiful as to walk the neighborhood."

"I just moved to this neighborhood but I find it to be really close knit and safe! I am excited to be a part of this community and look forward to our involvement."

"You can walk to elementary school and 2 parks are nearby. Sidewalk friendly neighborhood. This is a subdivision where dues pay for trash, which is less than anywhere else in the city. Everybodies yards are fenced. Streets are tree lined for great shade. Close to grocery stores, churches, and the bus line(Jo). "
