"Need a vehicle to access most areas of Ottawa. Walking is an option, due to many sidewalks. Ottawa is limited because of only one bridge crossing the Illinois River. The Northeast side of town (where the High School located) is also limited because of only 2 ways in and out. Currently it has only 1 way due to construction. "
  • Meredith Martin Olsen

"Location cannot be beat. Lovely area filled with unique styles of homes. Not a cookie-cutter development. Quiet, peaceful and friendly. Great mix of people of all ages. Well maintained homes make the North side a sought after location. Believe it or not, there are people who actually did not know this area of Ottawa exists. Close enough to the downtown area if you choose to take a nice walk to the riverfront. Good caring neighbors. Cannot emphasize enough how nice and tranquil it is in this area. Great School District, close to all churches and Ottawa Regional Hospital and Medical Center. Definately a lovely place to live. "
