  • Tereenas
"Rails to trails, two rivers you can walk on the levy’s and a few establishments allow dogs inside. Veterinarian in town and another a mile outside of town, pet store and groomers in town too."
  • Trulia User
"Nothing is unique it’s the middle of nowhere. Well there is the fact that there’s a one lane road that’s the only way to get in or out and it takes half an hour to go 4 miles. "
  • Jesterk9@gmail.com
"easy the commute is not bad, the worst part is getting out of orting valley because there is currently one main road that runs through this small city. but if you allow an extra bit of time during high traffic then it is not so bad."
  • Robbyj4000

"just because it's a small town doesn't mean you can relax with your kids. in a different time maybe but now. there are still freaks everywhere. "
  • Sabrina0222
"It’s is very family friendly, the walking trail is also great. It’s very safe, the school needs more support ( as in the area is growing too fast and they can’t keep up) "
  • Sonita C.
"Red hat parade, movie nights in the park, free lunch for kids in the summertime, car shows, farmers market"
  • Sandra G.

  • Amy A. S. L.
"Close walk to everything you need in a small town. Amazing view of Mt Rainer. Small town activities throughout the year "
  • Jamie P.
"I think that every parent feels really safe in the neighborhood I am currently staying in. Seems very quiet especially during the weekdays in the daytime and and evening hours. The neighborhood children ride bikes in the road even and as a parent you know that the parent must feel safe to allow them to do so. Not much traffic down the streets at all. Even the school district is small and has that home town feel. "

"It’s near the river and there are a lot of young families. People take pride in their yards and their homes "
  • Avendora623
"I've lived here for six years. we've had neighbors come and go. Only one was rude. and he left pretty quickly. :) everyone is nice and the park is lovely for dogs and kids. Great little skate park as well. "

"Some folks get a bit cranky if your dog gets out complaining that you are neglectful when this happens. Other than that, many folks walk their dogs around the neighborhood regularly. "
  • Pandababypok
"It's really just an amazing beautiful place to live. things are reasonably priced considering there's literally a million dollar view out of every window."
  • Thermonucfam
"HOA can drive people crazy in our neighborhood, but we generally have no problems. Some neighbors have lived here for 20+years, some people in this town are multi generational. "
  • Sabrina R.
