"We live so close to the beach, but we don’t get the direct wind and sand in storms. Private, green and an oasis in our own backyard!"
  • Kim T.
"everyone is always walking their dogs in this neighborhood and its peaceful. close by is a little stocked fish pond and park area to let the dogs run around. "
  • Pegi S.
"great community we live in here, everyone looks out for each other, it is quiet here in my little community for the most part plus we have all the wildife we can imagine here!"
  • dant
"We have a vacation home in a great area of Surfside Washington. Just about as far north as you can live to Leadbetter park on the peninsula. There is no traffic here, 10 minutes from Ocean park, and 50 yards to the sand and surf from our front door. Up here there is no vehicle traffic allowed on the beach from April 15th till Labor day, so it is pretty much only the locals on this stretch of sand. We love it!"
  • flowersunrose
"This is a wonderful small safe community to be able to enjoy retirement or live part time with state parks, 30 miles of Pacific Ocean and beach, or on the other side the Willapa Bay and and famous oysters. The mouth of the Columbia River and world famous fishing, clamming, the Port of Ilwaco and Saturday Market the light houses and state parks, the fun in downtown Long Beach with the shops and rides. There is always something going on with all of the festivals during the year, and the largest fireworks celebration on 30 miles of beach each year. We have Fraternal Orders such as the Elks, Eagles and Moose that always have something planned and a great place to meet new friends, eat have a drink at and help the community out and it's easy to join (Just go in and ask to be a member and they will set you up). You have Chinook and the Chinook Port, ILwaco and their Port, Seaview, Long Beach, Ocean Park, Nahcotta, and the Port of Nachotta on the Willapa Bay side, and Oysterville."
  • Terry H.
"Vacation location on the SW Washington coast. Worlds longest beach. No crowds, great place to vacation or retire."
  • Mary M.
"I live here and absolutely love the ambiance of the ocean and the forest! Very friendly and community minded. Family activities almost every weekend especially during the summer. Many community and free activities with a good amount of shops for every taste. Plenty of restaurants and eating to chose from. Elegant to casual to chose from. Long Beach is a very popular and heavily booked vacation area."
  • Donhugh47
