What Locals Say about Willard Hay

  • Jaed Lin
"I adore this neighborhood-especially for traveling to other spots in the city. Very easy to get downtown/uptown/northeast. Beautiful parkways make you feel close to nature w.out being in the burbs "
  • Cnf8vdf4xk
"Lots of parks, biking trails and walking paths. Great for families and singles. Close to downtown and the arts community "
  • Trulia User
"nice people and the neighborhood is very clean, the park has a small pool for kids in the summer, there's buses, corner stores, and a five minute commute to downtown "

  • Olivia Pope
"I’ve lived in Willard Hay for ten years now. It’s definitely not the same as when i first lived here. It’s becoming very gentrified which is tragic. "

  • Dennis A.

"I've lived in this neighborhood for nine years and have had no problems. I feel safe here close commute to work and downtown. My neighbors are very friendly."
  • Patrick R.
"North Minneapolis has a bad rapport but there are certainly areas within North Minneapolis that are SAFE, CLEAN, FRIENDLY and GREAT to live in. Quiet areas and neighbors willing to lend a hand are great qualities of the area. Lived here 5 years never had any crime in the area."

"If you really want a yard AND a quick commute by bike or bus to downtown, this is a GREAT neighborhood for the money. Downside: walkability. There are no fast food joints, restaurants or bars within a mile in any direction. This may be why the area is so clean and quiet. We are hoping to get a supermarket at Penn & Plymouth. There's a already a GREAT clinic near that corner."
