"I’ve lived here since 2017 . This is the longest I’ve stayed renting one place . Personally I love my neighbors a the area I’m in . Literally have not had one problem in the 7 years I’ve been here . But all my other homes on the opposite side of town I’ve had all sorts of problems . But my neighborhood is unique bc my neighbors are more like family. We watch out for one another we help one another! "

"There is a dog park, and it seems as a pretty welcoming place to take your animals. Some places do not seem very fit considering bad sidewalks or unmanaged yards but most of the town is fine!"
  • Trulia User
"Most homes have fenced in yards, and sidewalks for walking them. I see a lot of dogs out with owners, and there is a dog park just on the edge of town."
  • Jessicalm22
"The neighborhood that I live in isn’t a spontaneous one. Dog owners would probably not feel safe walking around."
  • Braudblade

"I have worked in the Marion area when I was younger. I raised 4 children in Marion, three of which graduated from River Valley High School prior to our moving. One has retured to live here again and opperated a Beauty Salon. I loved the area as is was a smaller community, much like the one I was raised in. I recently married and moved away, but hope to return in 5 years when my husband retires !!"
  • Teri Y.
"this area is close to shopping and nice and quiet. dennis ave is a dead end street so there is little traffic. you feel like you are in the country but close to the city."
