Types of apartment in Marietta, GA
Marietta, GA has a wide mix of apartments and houses for rent. Near Marietta Square, you can find older brick buildings, small garden-style apartments, and some renovated houses with front porches and simple siding. Around Whitlock Avenue and Kennesaw Avenue, many rentals sit on shaded lots and have a more traditional look. You might see ranch houses, split-level homes, and low-rise apartments with brick fronts, wood trim, and open parking lots. Interiors often include basic galley kitchens, carpet in bedrooms, and updated vinyl floors in living areas.Farther east near Powers Ferry and south toward Fair Oaks, apartments often shift to larger communities with stucco or brick exteriors, wider parking areas, and shared amenities. Up by East Cobb and toward Sandy Plains, many apartments and houses for rent have newer facades, attached garages, and more private entry layouts. Along Cobb Parkway near Cumberland access, apartments can be newer and closer to shopping, but traffic is a real tradeoff. Closer to the Square, older apartments can have more character, but floor plans and storage space often vary.
