"I operate a Home for Disabled Veterans in Cherokee Triangle that has been open 40 yrs in July. This is an amazing neighborhood filled with diverse friendly residents who help one another. You will absolutely love The Highlands, the parks, shops, restaurants and entertainment. "
  • Danielle B.
"They would love the sidewalks and big old trees for shade. They would love that several people are out walking their dogs at the same time unless their dogs don’t like other dogs. "

"Cherokee Park is beautiful. I don’t have kids. There is a lot of traffic. People drive too fast down the streets. "

"I don’t go anywhere So my commute is extremely comfortable. I tend to stay away from bardstown road. The drivers around here are not the safest. "
  • Janeva L.

  • Trulia User
"I take the bus, and there's lots of routes that go through here. It's super easy to get downtown, but I don't really go anywhere else."
  • "Lots of beautiful, old, huge mansions on Cherokee Rd. Pretty trees, everybody keeps their place nice."

"The neighborhood is very well kept and is very beautiful. The neighborhors look out for one another and are very friendly. "
  • "Food, shops, and nightlife are the best in Louisville. The area is so pet friendly that if you do not own a dog you will soon want to get one. Cherokee park is beautiful with plenty of walking and bike trails. The Highlands is very friendly and eventful community, there is always something going on that is fun for the whole family. I would recommend the area to anyone looking to move to Louisville. Bardstown Rd/ Baxter Ave is nonstop independently owned shops, bars and restruants that are guarenteed not to let you down. This place is a 10 outa 10 in my book. "
