What Locals Say about Knoxville

  • Mrdoug.hatch
"Lots of places to walk including a very nice park. While in the walk everyone with dogs has them well under control. "
  • Jessica F.
"Lots of families and nearby to schools and parks. Beautiful street on Park Lane Drive. Large 100 year old maple and oak trees line the street. Cars generally take care when driving. "
  • Cathy.scullen
"This town is too small for public transportation, however, there is public transportation for seniors provided. I drive for my commute for a few minutes. This is a small town in a rural area but only an hour to a major metropolitan area where many people from this town work. "
  • n p.
"I rated it as pet friendly/terrible because most houses have at least one dog, some up to 4 and cats always run loose at night. I don't mind, except when they break the ordinance and do not contain them. Some are worse than others at keeping them on leashes or cleaning up after they dump. I have had steaks ripped off the grill, my grandkids take bad falls in dog crap, watched a big dog knock over the neighbor lady with bags of groceries in her arms. Most of us don't say anything for fear of retaliation."
