"I’ve lived in HSV for 21 months and it is very safe, very quiet, and is ideal for retired married/partnered seniors."
  • Pegnel24
"I’ve never seen a stray dog running around. All dogs are on leash and owners are friendly. Walking the trails with your dog is nice."

  • Merryt2
"It is 20 miles to downtown Hot Springs. A nice drive! Good shopping. It is a 45 minute drive to Little Rock, Ar. "
  • Stan W.
"Concerts, sports, theater, fundraiser events, clubs, organizations for every interest. Dog park, pickle ball tournaments, golf tournaments."
  • Keenataylor73
"None, my neighbors don’t get together to have parties or any type of get togethers, which is ok by me. I don’t have to have community events to get to know people. Hot Springs Village is full of opportunities if you want to get involved but some of us choose to we do not. We are not retired but we don’t want “Urbanization” in the Hot Springs Village either which is what our CEO is pushing and it’s disturbing the quaintness of this community. "
  • Ms_delta_dawn
"Not a lot of grass or public areas to walk inside some subdivisions. There’s a neat dog park nearby tho"
  • Tlhutchinsfrye
"Hot Springs Village is a very diverse community. Our citizens come from all over the country and the world. I have met so many people who were outstanding in their career field. This group have over 200 organizations, community center, theater, dozens of churches, parks, and 11 lakes that offer all kinds of events throughout the year. "
  • Tlhutchinsfrye
"Dog owners love the dog park! Many dog owners live in the village. They are very responsible and clean up after their dogs. We see dogs riding in golf carts, out on the lakes in Pontoon boats, walking or running with their owners, and driving around with their heads hanging out the car window or convertible top. "
  • Karibdickson
"You see some people walking dogs but this neighborhood is a retirement village but more people are vacationing here too"
  • Violet Aster
"I have lived here for 9 years. We love it so much we moved our daughter and three grandsons here. People are very friendly, there are so many activities available. We plan to never leave it. We love it. "
  • Rachel C.
"There are not a lot of children here except in summer or when there are breaks from school, but it seems safe for children at least in my experience and I have a elementary aged child at home "
  • Lburroughs77
"Lots of space for the kids to play. It's quiet and every neighbor is like family. I love being in the country where my kids can ride bikes or we can ride four wheelers. Everybody knows everybody. The surrounding schools are also wonderful!"
  • Tonyrather
