"You just need to train the dog and get a fence. The dogs are small and nice. The bigger dogs are pit bulls."

  • "I have grown up in this area and have been a part of this community for the last 35 years. My father moved the family here as part of his PCS from Fort Hood, TX. Being a military family having to move all around the world Augusta/Hephzibah, GA. is the first place we could call home since this would be my father's retirement post. I have seen the city make decisions that would have destroyed most community's with the enacting of gentrification, but we are "South-Side" strong and we just bounce back!!! I have watched this area blossom and take form over the years and I see the potential for continued growth and prosperity here on the south side of Augusta. There is a wealth of un-tapped resources and once the West-side and Evans areas are over saturated and the mass exodus is no longer the trend you are going to see a growth spurt so large it will run all the way to the Burke Co. line and the diamond in the rough shall be revealed!!! I would position myself early while it is still "taboo" to live on the south side... our little secrete!!! "
