"Hammond is a great place to grow up, and has a wonderful school district. I grew up in Hammond and graduated high school from Saint Croix Central. While growing up us kids owned the streets with our bikes and it was, still is, an incredibly safe place for kids to play. The community is extremely nice, and tight knit. Everyone knows everyone for the most part, neighbors are also more than willing to help out with anything! "
