"Nonexistent to say the maximum people are not friendly and in the area I personally live in the neighborhood the people don’t take any pride in their yard "
  • Bamagrlq45

  • Caitlin G.
"not enough houses have fenced yards. some of the dogs bark a lot. there are not many sidewalks to take your dog for a walk, also very few parks where dogs are allowed. don't know of any true dog parks"
  • Anna G.
"Must drive everywhere. Most destinations are 40-60 miles away. There is no public transit, no ride share, a car is a must. "
  • Thompson.ashley2201
"This city is unique because it is near a major lake known for fishing tournaments. Its not expensive to live in,but makes you feel like you're living in luxury "
  • Renee S.
"EXCELLENT NEIGHBORHOOD very quiet and peaceful. Short 2 min drive to the lake and a 5 min drive to stores and restaurants. Neighbors are all very friendly and welcoming. "
  • Dcshields
"I am retired so no commute. Huntsville is the closest city with decent paying jobs. There are no sidewalks in a large part of this city. The traffic on my street is so heavy, it is dangerous to even cross the street certain times of the day."
  • Dcshields
"The Hydroplane (boat) races are held on the lake in front of our house. They fence off the spectator section and we have to walk a half mile to an entrance to see exhibits, food trucks etc. We are old and it was too hot for us to walk that far. We did have a great spot in the front yard to see the races."
  • Anna G.
"There is a very nice and well maintained walking trail along the lake. There is also a small dog park. "
  • Dcshields
"I have been retired for years so therefore, no commute. There are no sidewalks on my street and many use our street as a speedy cut through, emphasis on speedy. "
  • Dcshields
"Retired now but when I worked, it was about an hour commute to a decent paying job. Lots of residents commute to Huntsville."
  • Dcshields
"Traffic is a nightmare. Hwy 431 runs right through town and everyone wants to drive in the left hand lane. I miss the small town we used to have. "
  • Ken L.
"This neighborhood is awesome. Like living in Mayberry. Gatherings in homes for season celebrations. Community block parties . Everyone watches out for everyone. Probably nicest community in Guntersville. Awesome views of lake Guntersville ."

  • Cynth_hnd
"Close to major highway, but far enough away to walk. No sidewalks. Not many streetlights if you’d like to walk early am or late on. But is a quiet safe place to live😊😀"
  • Patrick O. n.
"Jeff cook day, boat races, big bass splash, bass masters tournament. State park nearby. Multiple fishing tournaments all year long."
  • Justin D.
"I've lived in this neighborhood for a while and it's awesome, this is the most high class neighborhood in the marshall county "
  • Headpnut416
"I live out of state, but my family lives right down the street. As a frequent visitor, I can say that Guntersville is a lovely city, filled with lots of outdoor recreational opportunities, as well as cultural offerings (ie The Whole Back Stage). Huntsville and Birmingham are each less than 45 minutes away. I'm actually looking into moving from Baton Rouge, LA to be closer to my family. "
  • db_1954
"This street is one of the BEST in town. RIght next to The Whole Back Stage, walking distance to the museum and the library~! VERY safe area for children, pets. Plus, it is close to shopping in every direction and the walking trails. This house has a full basement that has another full bath as well. Sun room has a partial lake view. Very surprised it is appraised so low. The house next door is for sale so I hope this helps to sell it. "
  • njane7
"Guntersville is a peninsula surrounded by Lake Guntersville. This is a beautiful town to raise a family or retire to. The climate is wonderful with short mild winters and beautiful weather the rest of the year. "
  • Freeman S.
    "Beautiful area, Great neighbors "
  • Waltandsandy
"Easy 35 minute low traffic commute to Redstone/Marshall space Center (gate3) Big plus, commuting from east side means no sun in your eyes during rush hours. Lake is rated in top 10 for freshwater fishing. Launch ramps 1/4 and 1-3/4 miles away. Small boat dockage available."
