"Our Main Street area is fantastic. There are lots of restaurants, bars, breweries, cute little shops and concerts during the Spring & Summer. We really enjoy the holiday street fairs & the weekend farmer’s market set up in the town square park. There are quite a few supermarkets & smaller type grocery stores very close by. We’re lucky to a few gas station with the lowest prices on Long Island, a very nice plus. We have several town parks with running tracks, football fields & playgrounds that sponsor Summer concert events. "

"It's a nice neighborhood. Everyone looks out for each other. It's in a low crime rate area. Walgreen's is in walking distance as well as the post office and other stores. "
  • Henry O. a. W. S.
"It's a safe neighborhood. The people are very friendly. They all pitch in during Winter months with snow removal and getting the lawn sprinkles ready in the Spring."
  • Henry O. a. W. S.
"The neighbors all pitch in and help each other. Whether it be pitching in with snow removal after a blizzard or a neighbor helping other neighbors turn on their sprinkler systems at the beginning of Spring or alerting each other when there are suspicious people wandering down the street in the middle of the night and keeping an eye out. There have been one or two incidents in the past pertaining to theft, but our unofficial "neighborhood watch", I believe, has brought the crime rate to practically zero. This is a great neighborhood for families."
