Short 30 min drive to get more selections of restaurants, shopping or to the moves and just a little over an hour to get to Chicago. But still feel like you are far enough away from the city "

    "This area feels very friendly. All of my neighbors are so welcoming and nice. We remind each other if they left their garage door open or if car lights are left on. We have parties together, share cooking ingredients, bring their mail in if they’re on vacation, and let their dogs outside if they work late. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. "
