What Locals Say about Riverside

  • Cara W.
    Riverside, Columbus
"We have had no issues with safety in this neighborhood for the past 3 years we have lived in it. No stolen packages. Neighbors are very friendly, the nearby park is nice, proximity to grocery stores and restaurants is extremely convenient, and it’s all very family friendly. Sidewalks are uneven, but that’s literally my only complaint."

"Lots of kids and young families starting to move in around here. Older folks also are mixed in but a lot of young people are finding the Dublin school districts a plus."

"Great community very diverse and for shopping if it’s not near Sawmill it’s not meant to have it. I’ve lived in the area almost 30 yrs I know it well. "

"Seems like there are tons of kids riding bikes and playing outside. Some busier streets but also lots of no outlet cauldesacs where kids can play without worrying about thru traffic"

"Public transportation is spotty. You definitely need a car to get around. You could probably walk to grocery and convenience stores but it would be a little inconvenient since not every block has sidewalks"

"There aren’t any community events that I participate in. Can’t say that I’ve seen many advertised other than the Dublin Irish festival. "

"They surely will like. But most of them don’t clean up after their dogs and it’s so disgusting to walk in the grass outside or allow the kids to play. They will love the new dog park."

    Riverside, Columbus
"Very quiet neighborhood, well maintained, nice cars. People stay to themselves but are also neighborly. Can hear birds and insects through open windows. Kids play, dogs walk, almost every store or other public need is nearby. Great schools and still affordable rent. Low crime. "

"The super fast street traffic is really a concern for all that live here. The traffic regularly goes 40-50mph thru a 20mph zone. "
