  • Danielle Johnson
"I love this community. Schools are incredible! Neighborhoods are quiet and beautiful and clean. So many food and grocery options and the dam is a great escape into nature."
  • Diamondmill
"I’ve lived here for 17 years and love it! It’s quiet, the neighbors are nice...it’s like living in Mayberry!"
  • Diamondmill
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 17 years and love it. We are close enough to restaurants and grocery, but feel as if we live in the country. The folks in the neighborhood are friendly and helpful but you don’t feel like everyone is in your business. It’s a wonderful place for your kids to grow up in, or for someone to retire. It’s quiet and peaceful!"
  • drmrboy73
"Nothing at all...this town is completely dead....I’ve never seen anything like it in my life...it is a good place to be from..."
  • Diamondmill
"We have lived in the old town Clayton area for 17 years and we have loved it. Great neighbors: quiet but friendly...you can still borrow sugar. We have a park close by, a family drive-in down the road, and an affordable private pool nearby. I often says it’s like living in Mayberry!!! We have the perks of living in the country but we are close enough to the amenities. "
  • Jessrow82
"Low crime, as long as you keep your car doors locked, kids like to take change from the cars. Insane amount of food options and grocery locations. Reliable auto stores, great library, lots of bank options. And the view of the trees from the dam can't be compared, the wildlife in the parks takes you away from the city, while still being in it. "
  • Jessrow82
"Safe neighborhood. Property taxes are high for the area, but most would consider it worth it for the atmosphere, lots of shopping areas, and ease of access to grocery and restaurants. Very high rated schools. "
  • Jessrow82
"I have moved to many parts of this city for the past 23 years. Property taxes are a bit high, but the education system is very good, crime is petty and low, lots of good places to eat and shop "
  • xraychick1112
"Moved to the area in 2009. Great school district!!! I have two elementary school children in the gifted program. Neighbors are very friendly and help each other out. Very quiet neighborhood. Kid friendly with parks nearby. If you like an open space community as well as the convenience of living close to a city, this is it!"
