What Locals Say about Catalina

  • Danielle B.
"Lots of safe walking areas with bags and trash cans available! Plus a park to run safely around!! "
  • Nishagranderson
"This is a very secluded area with lots of wild life. Most properties are large so neighbors are at a distance away but friendly. You are only 15 minutes from town but it feels like you are a million miles away in a good way "
  • Scubavann
"Quiet clean and cool nights. Love the elevation and it makes a difference even in summer. It is a great place to live"
  • Sussana6
"My neighborhood has great 5 min driving to trails and mountains. The grocery store is about 5 min away also. It’s very calm and peaceful."
  • Caitlin S.
"I have lived in this area for 2 years now. It’s quiet and a good area. I believe it’s safe and a food area for people with children. "
  • Mschmugge
"Sutherland Heights is a beautiful area separated off from Catalina and Saddlebrooke. It has some of the best views in the Tucson area. It is also a hikers/mountain bikers/equestrian dream since it sits adjacent to State Trust Land, National Forest and near Catalina State Park. It is quiet and dark at night for wonderful star-gazing. Since the subdivision is somewhat isolated, there is a strong sense of community by those of us who live here."
  • Crm082456
"The property here for sale is ok but the location and neighborhood is terrible. Not safe for kids and retirees. Perhaps a young couple or single would be ok. Some of the neighbors have really run down the area."
  • Marge
"The area is very nice, convenient to stores, schools, and malls. Affordable area, taxes are less than Oro Valley and you are only minutes to Oro Valley, the hospital, doctors, and malls."
