    "This is a great neighborhood for people who want the peace and quiet of the forest, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Abundant wildlife, and the trees block the wind and summer heat. It's a bit of a drive to shopping, schools and entertainment, but that's a small price to pay for living in such tranquil surroundings."

    "Live in nature, but close to town and shopping. You can have a garden, small livestock, and nature trails nearby. Nice area to raise children and also retire away from city noise. Most homes are on 2 to 10 acre tracts. D-20 and D-38 school districts are excellent! Never had a break-in or any crime in my area of the Black Forest. The community has a yearly parade and plans events trhoughout the year such as a farmer's market, arts and craft shows, and music festivals. Even though the area was hit by wildfire last year, many homes are being rebuilt. Most people did not want to leave such a beautiful area. This would be a great time to buy a place as home prices are typically higher in the Black Forest. "
