"I have lived in Bay Ridge Estates for ten years with no plan to ever move away. It is so peaceful and safe, with only local traffic...which means safe for kids to play. The lots are huge (happy gardening!) and most homes have ample parking room for RVs and boats. My favorite thing about living here are my great neighbors."
  • Embalmermel

  • dean
"This area has plenty of natural attractions. It's within sight of Birch Bay and close to Birch Bay State Park. It's quiet, yet is only 45 minutes from Vancouver and 30 minutes from Bellingham. It's a natural escape, yet close to civilization. Great for families with children or retirees."
  • Pnelson8452
"This is an extremely safe, friendly neighborhood, where the children are free to bike and walk without fear. This is a neighborhood where the neighbors help each other. Beautiful views of the bay, the San Juan Islands and Mount Baker from various parts of the village. Several little parks complete with grills and restrooms. Private marina, golf course, tennis courts, pool, and constant meetings of the various interest groups in the club house. All ages will enjoy this neighborhood. It is the type of neighborhood where everyone drives slowly for the pedestrians and those on bikes. People look out for one another and wave as they drive past. The perfect neighborhood."
