"Bardstown is a down home, country town. Pretty friendly and peaceful small town. Grew up here and haven’t found a small town as beautiful that cares about its historical preservations as well as expanding to modern day living. Close to other cities for shopping and going to attractions. This town does not obtain large corporate buildings and small streets. It’s meant to be quaint. "

I've often left my front door unlocked while not at home, & I have front porch furniture & have never had a problem. Near the hospital & schools. It's handy to I-65 too, just off hwy 245. All around great for the young & the old!"
