It has the old small town charm, with many great restaurants including Cork's Wine Bar & Restaurant, Old Town Pizza, Ziggy's Pub, Quesadilla's, Hot Dog Heaven, Hastee Tasty Ice Cream and of course the Amherst Cinema. You can walk everywhere and there is also a great park for kids with a great playground and swimming pool."
