What Locals Say about Alice

  • Jeremy
"I live near the municipal golf course in one of the nicer parts of Alice. It is a decent neighborhood, but after living in this house for 3 years I do not know a single neighbor. It’s kind of strange. The school system is under par as well. I will be leaving as soon as possible. "

  • Brenda Q. r.
"Nice and quiet. Good Restaurants and People! I enjoy living here. 281 Business may need road repairs and side walks. "
  • Jaime G.
"Cool creek nearby with fish and turtles, low crime rates and friendly neighbors make this a nice neighborhood."
  • Larry K.
"Alice Texas was settled as a stop off station for the trails leading to Corpus Christi from the west, later during the oil boom developed into a thriving city. As the Jim Wells County seat, there are lots of opportunites for growth. A little bit of country with easy access to the big cities of Corpus Chrisit and San Antonio."
