People own acres here vs close neighbors like the city. however, we know each other and are kind and helpful should you ever need them. Activities are planned including an occasional farmers market and we are close to GUADALUPE national park so there is kayaking, etc. opportunities. "

    "I've lived in this neighborhood for ten years. It's very friendly with a few annual events, including a Halloween potluck + a trick-or-treating hayride for the kids, and a big Christmas party/potluck for the adults. The 1.5 mile cul-de-sac is hilly and curvy and quite scenic. You can hand-feed the deer from your car in some areas. You can do a safe but challenging 5-mile run by doing the entire road plus all the side streets."
