"Asking a Fairfax resident, or any Northern Virginia resident for that matter, about their "commute" is laughable. NoVa is one of the busiest areas in America. That said, commutes will vary depending on a variety of factors. My commute is great as I commute in the opposite flow of regular traffic. I go West while they go East in the morning. "
  • Michael V.
"I’ve enjoyed the fair lakes area of fairfax for the better part of 8 years. There are great local business, a range of amenities, and of course you’re centralized to activities in and around Fairfax County. Just a short hop to i66 or any of the other major roadways. Schools are great. Neighbors are nice. Area is amazing. "
  • Betsy C.
"The families here are wonderful. The parks are very open. I love the atmosphere here in Fairfax VA. "
  • Julia S.
"There is a rent fee for apartments. And only several types of dogs are allowed. Other than that, it’s safe neighborhood."
  • Yolanda A.
"There are plenty of dog owners yet you seldom here dogs barking. People pick up after their dogs when walking them. Clean friendly area"
  • Jerome F.
"Events that allow transplants to get to know each other. Growth is accelerating and people seem to exist in their own reality missing the ability to take a deep breath and get to know each other."
  • Krystal D.
"Quiet area with a neighborly/community feel to it. No issues with living here. Very close to shopping and food areas. "
  • Jessica
"I do not have any specific comments. The roads have some major potholes, many houses are not well maintained. But the schools are good and the s community very strong. The park is maintained by volunteers. "
  • Klhoust
"Farmers markets ease of access to shopping. Great restaurants. Great access to large defense contractor jobs. "
  • Renee.faulkner
