"I drive to a park n ride 10 minutes away in order to access bus transportation. The bus then takes me to downtown Los Angeles."
  • MS Bibal
"Peacefully far enough from the bigger cities to feel safer. Not too far to feel isolated from the world. "
  • Piseth SIM

"I absolutely love seeing wild rabbits and squirrels here in Chino hills. There are lots of parks and walking trails. I feel safe walking alone. This city has ZERO homeless people which is wonderful. I love how well the plants and trees are kept up by the city. A major plus is that if you ever have to call the cops for anything they arrive quickly. This is a beautiful safe city to raise a family or live alone as a single female."
  • 6ngyswm9ms
"Plenty of well kept parks. The schools are very good, very walkable neighborhood/city. Most people are pleasant, the grocery stores are always clean and well stocked!"

  • Monique Tellez
"There are always people walking their dogs on leashes here in chino hills. I hardly see dog poop so I’d like to assume people are actually cleaning up after their dogs when taking them out for walks."
  • Buddyjones
"Neighbors are very friendly and always willing to lend a hand. Homes in my neighborhood all very well maintained. "
  • Kimberly A.

  • Susana A.
"Pick up poo more often. Some elder,y dogs not on a leash but super gentle. There are some dogs that fence isn’t high enough for their build. "
  • Angelina C.
"Yes, a lot of parks to walk dogs. But people seem to forget to pick up their dogs poop.......... other then that they will love it"

"30-45 mins from almost anywhere important (LA, Orange County etc.) it’s not too far from most places"
  • Natalia V.
"The 71 to the 91 is very tight in the mornings. Any time from 6-8am it's backed up all the way from the 91 to Butterfield. Bad! And the Brea Canyon is no better. I have to go into work at 9am so not to stand in that kind of traffic, and I work in Irvine. Thank goodness for the 241 toll road off the 91. Getting out of Chino Hills area is a nightmare. Otherwise, living here is a dream. "
  • Kimber408
"Almost everyone has a dog in my neighborhood and there is a dog park off the freeway. For the most part, owners to pick up after their pets. The only thing you have to worry about is the coyotes at night time. "
  • Beverly B.
"This is my third year in Chino Hills and I love it. We have all of the conveniences of living in a big city, but it feels like a small town. The rolling hills, and trails add to the charm. I also love the huge amount of shopping and restaurants. The schools are also great!"
  • Trulia User
"I have lived for 17+ years. Great community for children and recreation. I highly recommend for families. "
  • Misty T.
"I live in Chino Hills it’s lovely, but it’s expensive and the people can be stuck up. Overall if I could stay I would but I can’t afford it. "
  • Lindsey
"It is a really safe, clean and beautiful area to walk your dog. There is also local dog parks around. "
  • Genine H. S.
"Chino hills is one of the best neighborhoods I have lived in - mostly for the gorgeous views, the open spaces, convenient shops and restaurants, but most importantly the friendliest people. "
  • Janelleioimo
"Most people are very friendly and so are the dogs. Mostly everyone picks up after them too. I love walking the beautiful hills"
  • Melissa S.
"I have a short commute to work by car. Limited access to public transportation. There is a park and ride a few miles away in Chino."
  • Natasha V.

  • Michael F.
"I would say that what makes the neighborhood unique is how quiet and peaceful the area can be. I have yet to find a city that provides this."
  • Janelleioimo
"If you have a car, everything is within ten minutes of the city. As far as for people without cars or licenses, I don’t even know where the bus stops are. Public transit should be more easily accessible "
