"Indian Beach/Sapphire Shores is a wonderful, diverse, friendly neighborhood. Beautiful area, much nicer and safer than surrounding areas. I will say that neighbors move in and out too frequently for there to be substantial community, and public transit is accessible but not the best. "
    • Trulia User
"I love the neighborhood, it's safe and friendly with people who own their home and appreciate good living by maintaining the property "
    • Trulia User
"I don't commute. I am retired, drive my own vehicle. There is a bus stop at Myrtle and US41, and several others throughout the neighborhood. "
    • Shelisa K.

" lots of traffic, people drive kinda fast. I love this area but then I dont have kids, so not sure what to tell a someone raising family, except to drive around, the area's are very diverse and different/ eclectic, I find that interesting and but someone raising little ones might not. "

"Artistic and unique area. Beautiful Sarasota Bay just a block away. I love Indian Beach-Sapphire Shores. A truly hidden gem in Sarasota. Close to downtown and Lido Key."
    • Jane N. J.
"IBSSA or also known as the Museum District is convenient to downtown, airport, University Parkway. It is West of the trail between the Museum of Art and Whimsey and The Ringling Museum. 2 parks in neighborhood are on the Bay., Spectacular Sunsets! 1,150 households are active in a variety of neighbor events. Annual picnic, annual yard sale weekend with over 60 households participating, and the Sun Circle Art Festival in March (March 14, 2015). It is a safe neighborhood, we walk, run, play with dogs and children in our parks and yards. The annual dues for the neighborhood association is only $20! That is $20 a year! I would not live anywhere else."
    • tafinnmo
"I live here. Truly unique community, especially for Florida. Intellectual and artistic, lots of ballet, arts, acting along with constant sun, kayaking and the best sunsets on Earth. There's also a first rate college and a pretty good art school as well as access to the sixth best public school in the United States. Nova Collegium!"
    • Jane N. J.
"I wouldn't live any where else! Close to downtown, beaches, next door to Ringling Museum. Super friendly!"
