What Locals Say about Burbank

  • Trulia User
"Sometimes people don’t pick up after their dogs which gives dog owners a bad name. There are a lot of friendly dogs around but it’s the owners that are sometimes not being responsible about not throwing their dog’s trash in a trash can "

"The commute is pretty easy. A little congestion during the rush hour times but any time past 9pm there is little to no traffic "

"I’ve always felt very safe in this neighborhood. I walk alone at night to local restaurants. It’s well-maintained. Bike friendly, and has been a great place to live."

"The drivers are a little crazy so keep your kids tightly in hand. The community is beautiful and businesses are all very personable. We have felt like neighbors rather than tourists. "

"The thing that makes this community is the actual sense of community which is hard to come by in LA County. I think people feel this and strive to meet those ends "

"Ummm there are film studios near by and ummmm a lot of Armenian pride. It’s safer I guess than some other LA area neighborhoods. It’s kinda central to lots of other areas. "

"It’s old school Los Angeles. It’s not to modern, but it’s also a fan of its history. Burbank is better suited than noho."

"I've lived in this neighborhood for almost 5 years and all of my neighbors have been super friendly. It appears to be safer than other areas of LA and it's extremely dog friendly. I always see a lot of people walking their dogs when I'm walking my dog"

"The neighborhood is extremely dog friendly. I always see people walking there dogs in the mornings and evenings. There are a couple of parks near by that are dog friendly. Then only problem is being out to look late and the coyotes are around. Everyone with a small dog knows not to leave them outside and also don't take them out for late night walks."

"Friendly, clean and safe neighborhood! Close enough to a lot, but still has a suburban-ie feel to it. Plus we have our own water and power company which can be nice. Downtown Burbank is great and has tons of yummy restaurants. Also close to all the major studios so the entertainment and art feel about the whole area is pretty spot on! Great schools too! "
