9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not very good for the reasons I will list below:1. Students mainly socialize by race and gender, very little cross gender interaction.2. Does not deal effectively with bullying, like when people have been attacked and the school did nothing.3. PE is not very safe, with mile runs at 5mph+ average speed in hot weather.4. The punishments are extremely unequal, such as suspension for self defense and only detention for bringing a weapon to school.5. Vaping occurs in the bathrooms and the school does not do much about it. 6. Students share exploits and ways to bypass the web filter in the open.Student Review5mo ago20 Reviews - Louis E. 10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter loves this school! The school is bigger than most but it just means more friends to choose from! The teachers we have received have been excellent and supportive. The kids here seem really smart and the school has some nice activities for the kids. My daughter loves movie night. Drop off and pick up can get crowded but the cross guards and staff are there to make sure everyone follows the rules.Parent Review1y ago28 Reviews - Fremont High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen it was time for my two kids to start high school, we heard a few mixed rumors, but our experience over the last couple of years has been absolutely fantastic. If you’re looking for a school that reflects the real world and has a super supportive, down-to-earth community, FHS is exactly that. The teachers here are seriously amazing and genuinely care about the students as human beings, not just test scores. My kids have felt so seen and supported by the staff. One of my kids joined the marching band, and I cannot emphasize enough how incredible that program is—it has taught them so much about teamwork, time management, and commitment. The school also has some amazing pathways like their CTE programs and engineering classes that actually let kids do hands-on, real-world projects instead of just memorizing a textbook. What I really love most about Fremont is the overall vibe. While a lot of the other high schools in the area can feel like hyper-competitive pressure cookers, FHS is wonderfully diverse and grounded. It feels like a place where kids can actually just be kids, figure out what they are genuinely passionate about, and still get a top-tier education. The parent community is also super welcoming and involved, especially when it comes to supporting the arts and athletics. My kids are thriving here, and we honestly couldn't be prouder to be a Firebird familyParent Review3mo ago22 Reviews - Check out schools near 414 Crescent Ave.

"It’s an established community, it’s quite and kids friendly. The landscaping is already perfectly done (lots of greens, it feels luxurious in Bay Area setting heh). Most people are owning, but the renting won’t be hard because of the good schools. "

"This part of Birdland is a bedroom community. Restaurants and shopping are mostly handled with a car trip (often on the way home from work). Tucked safely away from major roads, noise and traffic are refreshingly muted compared to surrounding areas. Houses have 2-car garages, but most people use them for storage and park in their driveways or use the ample street parking. Lower and middle schools are excellent "Cupertino" ones, but Fremont High remains a stumbling block. With the surge of kids graduating from the middle school, however, there is hope that the high school will improve to the top tier with time. The area contains almost exclusively 3 and 4-bedroom houses. No condos. No apartments. Most residents are either retired couples or high tech workers with kids. Many residents are asleep by 10:00 and nearly the entire street is dark by 11:30. Comcast is the only internet service supplier. My house is too far for DSL. There is no fiber. There is no community wifi. Highway access to 280 and 101 N is excellent. Access to 237 and 101 S is OK. If you work for Apple, the commute is great: Infinite Loop campus and the new spaceship campus are a short drive on local roads. (I sometimes walk!) "

"We are family of 3 with a girl lived in the neighborhood for 8 years, our daughter graduated from the Stocklmeir Elementary school. She loves that school, it is a well balance school with very good teachers & staff over all. We often take a good walk to the Ortega Park next to the school. The neighborhood is extremely kids & pets friendly. Our neighbors are always watch up for each other. Great neighborhood to raise family with child/children. For young couple, it is a neighborhood centrally located in the South Bay, easy access to Hwy 280, 101, 234 & 85. "

"Great community center, fruit orchard (sells freshly picked apricots and cherries). Close to parks, library, school, tennis and swimming centers, shopping, restaurants, highways, yet residential neighborhoods are private."
