"Great public transport. Ok to own a car here too. Commute is short. Walking possible. Subways not safe. "
  • 9gbgsvq9bm
"not safe to be out after late hours or late walks in this area. Housing projects make it very unsafe for anyone to be around and cops donโ€™t regulate it "
  • Stewart Robinson
"Pied a terre since 2020 ground floor studio in a mediocre building with a great private backyard garden. Great places to walk, east river, Beekman Place, convenient to everything in midtown. Side streets are mostly quiet and tree lined. Reasonable rents in B properties near luxury buildings. Not cheap but you donโ€™t need to be rich to live here. "
  • Trulia User
"Wonderful area for walking your dog. Itโ€™s safe. AND people pick up after their dog. Acceptance if Community guidelines."
  • Trulia User
"I donโ€™t know about events, but there are a lot of dog daycare centers which is great for me and my pup! "
