"No idea. It’s a standard neighborhood. Though the yards are quite small on my street. The mail carriers are really nice."
    • Sherry S.
"i lived here all my life. no better place than lapeer to raise a family. nice friendly people and we are now getting a dog park"
    • Kathy K. K.
"any normal year there is a car show every Monday night during the summer. farmers market downtown almost daily. flea market every Sunday at the center building"
    • Jaysonmckenzie80
"it's a great quit community an People are very friendly and helpful and just an all around great place to raise kids"
    • Alexander H.
"lapeer looks nice on the outside but it has darkness on the inside. there are very few activities that cater to the people of the town. those activities get cut in half in the winter. drugs run rampant in the city making it very easy to get in the hands of children. the high schools have history of drug overdoses. The school system is flawed and can't support the staff or properly educate the children within the district either."
    • Alexander H.
"there is a limited amount of activities in lapeer. you can go bowling, to the movies or to the bar. lapeer days is the biggest festival of the year and it is a fairway with lots of drinking. "
    • Beverly K.
"We have a big festival at the end of the summer that is a big crowd pleaser. We also have neighborhood running groups, library events and downtown events that happen frequently. "
    • Brittney A. L.
"We have a lot of public holiday events ... such as Easter egg drop or the walk around the water tower park for Halloween ...we have lapeer days carnival in August and a lot more "
    • Mbillington3269
"My commute is all back roads and very scenic. Not too much traffic except around normal rush hours...7:30 am - 8:45 and 3:45 - 5:20 pm "
    • Kristen M.
"my neighborhood is one that's growing. it used to be a small town but now we're getting all the city amenities while still having a country feel. "
    • Kelsey G.
"Very personal but I’m a friendly person so I get to know those around me. I live in a close community so everything is accessible. But I miss the country view hoping to soon move out to the country side once again. "
    • Pwbygland
"i am just a visitor here and really don't know the area well at all yet. But what I have seen seems nice."
    • Leonard K. I.
"We live on about 12 acres in the country. Our dogs LOVE it here 🙂 There are several homes in our "neighborhood" with acreage with plenty of room for dogs, horses, cows and other "pets" 😉 If living in a thriving community is your thing, Lapeer is s great place to be. With many homes available within walking distance of the many dog friendly parks, and an abundance of walking paths and sidewalks. If you prefer the country, or a lake home, Lapeer has that too, and as long as you're willing to leash your pups and pick up their "business", they'll be welcomed in Lapeer 😎"
    • Paula C. A.
"We have a lot of activities we attend downtown, even though we are in country. We like Gallery 194, Pix theater, Stonesthrow theater and Crankshaft coffee."
    • Shana R.
"I've lived here for 4 years. Quiet neighborhood. Even for a trailer park. Lots of families and retirees. "
    • Pwbygland
"There are many dog owners in this neighborhood and everybody seems to get along. If you have a pet you will fit right in."
    • Dawnrutherford2001
"I’ve had my home for 20years and have never had any break-ins or vandalism in my neighborhood. It’s a half mile from city limits so taxes are lower. Close to major grocery stores , restaurants and places to shop."
    • Hoferdave27
